Tour Description:

Trekking Rinjani 4 days 3 Nights will Give yourself an extra day to stay and enjoy the beauty of Mount Rinjani National Park. This trek is recommended if you want to take your time on the trek, love a volcano lake swim & can’t get enough of Rinjani’s nature.

Tour Itinerary:

Arrival in Lombok we will pick you up by private car and then transfer to Senaru village, check in at Senaru Hotel (with hot/cold water, air condition), and here you can meet with your Trekking Organizer, Experience Mountain Guide and Local Porters, then will brief about the trekking procedure and prepare for your trekking trip. If time allowing (3 hours before sunset) you can visit the famous Senaru waterfall in Lombok (Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfall) in Senaru village.

Day 01: Senaru Village – Sembalun Village (1.150m) – Sembalun Crater Rim (2.639m).

Wake up at 6.00am, and get breakfast at 6.30am, and our special mountain car will ready to bring us to Sembalun village for 45minute or at latest 1 hour, arrive here approx 8.00am, then registration in Rinjani Information Center (RIC) 1051m, and start the trek via Bawak Nao (starting point) to Pos 1 (Pemantauan) 1300m by walking about 2 hours, here take a rest for 5-10 minutes, then continue to Pos 2 (Tengengean) 1500m by walking about 1 hour. We take rest for 2 hours at Pos 2 then your guide and porters will prepare for your lunch. After lunch and a rest, we continue to Pos 3 (Pada Balong ) 1800m. and here we take a rest for 5-10 minute at Pos 3. After that, we continue to heading Sembalun Crater Rim (Pelawangan Sembalun) 2639m by walking about 3 hours including a prolonged steep climb. We will camp for the first night at Sembalun Crater Rim, then from here, we can enjoy the awesome views. As the sunsets, and sunrise for the next morning, Segara Anak lake, Sembalun village, the summit of mount Rinjani half of North Lombok can be seen from here.

Day 02: Sembalun Crater Rim (2.639m) – Summit/Top (3.726m) – Segara Anak Lake and Hot springs (2008m).

The second day We wake up at 2.00am. and have some light breakfast, then leave at 2.30am for start the trek to heading Mt.Rinjani Summit (3726m). Walking time approximate 3 hours. The first stage is a moderate climb for 1 hour, while the second stage is a fairly easy but long trek about 1 hour, and the last hour is very difficult steep (There are many loose stones, and as you take two steps forward you will slip one step back). From the Summit, you can see all of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake. After sunrise, we will go down to Sembalun crater rim and have a breakfast at the campsite. After breakfast and a rest for a few minutes, we will go down to the Segara Anak Lake. the trail down is very steep and slippery, here we must extra carefully, we need 3 hours to the Segara Anak lake, the lunch will be provided at the crater lake, and after that we go to the hot spring about 100m walk from the lake, then here at hot spring you can soak in and healing your skin as medicine during Camping at near of the Segara Anak Lake.

Day 03: Segara Anak Lake, Cave and Hot springs (2.008m).

On the third day wake up and followed by breakfast then we will invite you to go visiting some beautiful places around Segara Anak Lake. Visiting Goa Susu (Milk Cave), Hot Spring etc. After bathing in the Hot Spring, we will back to our camping area and take lunch that has been served by the porters. Another activity that you can do is enjoy the beautiful stargazing milky way from the Segara Anak lakeside at night.

 

Day 04: Segara Anak Crater Lake (2.008m) – Torean Village.

On the last day after breakfast and enjoying the sunrise view, and taking the picture with beautiful scenery of the Segara Anak Lake, we will go down to the Torean village about half day walking, including lunch break on the way down, then after we arrived at Torean village, our private car will ready to bring you to your next destination (Senggigi, Mataram City or Lombok International Airport, or other places around Lombok Island).

In order to fully enjoy your trek, having the right trekking equipment is essential – both safety and comfort-wise.

  • Warm jacket – down jacket, if possible.
  • Water and windproof jacket (alternatively bring a poncho or umbrella)
  • Long sleeved synthetic fleece (windproof material, if possible)
  • Thermal underwear
